A lady in my ward put an easter egg hunt together for the little kids in her preschool and in the ward. It was a bit cold, but fun for my kids. They were almost as excited to play on the toys as they were to find the eggs. Turned out really good though. They got to play with friends and I got to talk to friends. Ty had someone to talk to also. It turned out great for us. Teague was probably the one that had the least amount of fun!

St Patty's Day
The Saturday before St. Patrick's Day we had a big cousins day. Here is everyone wearing their cute hats. We also made necklaces with cereal, colored, had green eggs and ham, somewhat watched a movie, and just played and had fun together!
Yes, I know, this girl is the cutest you've ever seen! I love her!
One Wednesday, we stayed home and had our own mini St. Patty's day party. Rainbow cupcakes! They took more time then you would think and is mostly a me job, but my kids did have fun adding the food coloring to their batter, and licking the spoons while waiting for me. The end product was fun also. Below is the classic "show me your cupcake" and have them put it right in front of their faces while you take the picture!
After the cupcakes and naps, we did finger paints. I know, impressive right? Cupcakes and Finger paints in the same day? Before you think I am the most amazing mom ever realize this is not a usual day at our house. It was a special holiday. You do notice I look awful in the above picture because I didn't have a shower and no ones hair got done. Plus the picture below was taken a couple days after the fact. Oh well! My kids were funny about the paints. they didn't want to use their fingers! The used straws most of the time! All in all it was a fun, successful day. I even made soda bread for the first time and quite liked it. Especially with honey butter! Not quite sure why we Americans celebrate it but Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!
P.S. These incredibly cute hats my girls are wearing were made by my sister Zenna.

Anniversary
Ty and I have now been married for Six years! That seems like a long time, but it's been great. I love this picture because it is first off beautiful, and where we were engaged. Didn't know it at the time we took the picture, but SO glad we have it. There has been a lot of learning, growing, and maturing during the last six years. (Oh yes, and kids! lots of kids!;) I can say I am a better person today because of Ty. I love this guy!

Nap Time!
Nap time is glorious, especially the rare occasion that I get one too! I obviously was not getting one on this day. Teague likes to take little cat naps or just have me hold him while he sleeps and once I put him in his bed pop his little head up! I love my kiddies! I wish I had a picture of them the other day. Ty had the three all fall asleep on the floor together. Cute. Now, if they would only fall asleep now that it's bedtime!

New Week's Resolutions
New Year's Resolutions often fade rather quickly and rarely make it the whole year. Let's face it. Life happens and adjustments are made. Last week was not a normal week. Karly spent two days laying on the couch with fever, cough, and achy. That is not fun to watch. Kami and Teague were sick too, but not as bad as Karly. Derek just got a little bit. I didn't get the fever, but a good headcold and no energy and Ty seems to have constant nasal infection. Needless to say, not a lot got accomplished last week and yet Ty and I were busy all week. (the weekend was Fabulous however) But now it's Monday and I am setting my New Week's Resolutions. I'm writing them down so they are more likely to be accomplished.
1. Read Scriptures everyday
2. Exercise 5+ times.
3. School with my kids 5+ times.
4. Clean, Clean, Clean (this has a list in and of itself!)
5. NO Treats until Saturday!
6. Go to bed Before 11, not 12 or 1 or 2
7. Plus all the other normal weekly things
8. Smile more, sing more and just be Happy!
And tonight I'm making Chicken Cordon Bleu which I have always wanted to make, but just never have. I have all the ingredients and so I'm going to do it. Watching Julie and Julia has motivated me to try new meals and have fun with it. Not to the extent in the movie (or anything even close) but I will branch out a little more.
I am excited for this week, but am now going to get of the computer and get moving!

Kami Turns Two
Isn't she just a doll?! What can I say, she is the cutest! I LOVE watching Kami. I love this age, where they are learning so much and copying everything they see people do. It's so fun. Kami is a smart little girl, but isn't talking much. I wish I knew what she was thinking and trying to tell me. Oh, she's so cute and I love her to pieces!!
Part of her Doctor's kit. Love the glasses!
