Christmas Program

Well, when you have a baby boy before Christmas, it's a really good bet you'll be asked to be Mary and Joseph for the church program. I was more happy about it than Ty,
but he's a good sport and went along with it.

Some of the donkeys were a little wild, but Karly stayed quiet and sweet.
Derek was the 'Star' of the program because he was being such a pill. He was pouting the whole time and not happy to be a star. He wanted to be a donkey like Karly. He had the biggest pouting lip the entire program.

This is the first year my kids have actually sat on Santa's lap by their own free will. Karly was still a little nervous, but did whisper in his ear that she wanted Polly Pockets. Luckily she had a cousin and an aunt get her some for her birthday, so Santa didn't have to. Thank you Jacobie and Rachel!!

Derek was pretty excited to see Santa. I don't think he understood he could ask Santa for anything he wanted, he asked for what we had put on his list of things he needed.
Derek, " I asked Santa for church shoes, but he didn't give them to me.
He just gave me a candy cane."
I love little kids!!

Kami just could not figure out why her dad would put her on the lap of such a strange man. She was glad to get off.

These are just a couple pictures we took at the dinner after Thomas and Ali's wedding.
