We have a climber!

So Teague has never been content for too long. Once he could roll, he wanted to scoot, then crawl, then walk, then run, and now he is into climbing! Fun!(for him more than me) His most recent find is the kitchen table. He loves it! I used to put things on the table to keep them away from him, not any longer! I guess, one good thing about this is now I usually have a clean table!
He's so happy up there! I'm fine with it unless we're trying to eat! Then things go sour.
P.S. Thanks Tonya for the way cute vest! I love it!
He definitely isn't my baby anymore. He looks like a little boy!

Even with a dirty face, she's still a cutie!

Boating with Grandpa Wardle

And once again, I will flash back to July. It was a fun month what can I say! I'm just slow to share. We spent lots of time at both grandparents houses as well as dinner in the mountains, but one of the highlights was grandpa Wardle taking us boating. I will probably never hear the end of the kind of mother I am for letting Derek fly off the tube when I was supposed to be keeping him on. It just happened so fast. It took me a second to realize he had flown off, and by then I thought I could jump in, but the boat would be back to him before I would so he was in the middle of the river all by himself. I felt SO Bad! He was upset and I don't think he has quite recovered from it. Hopefully next year, he will have forgotten and will be back on the tube.
Derek was the only one to be thrown off the tube ever, until a few days later that is!! This time all of us flew off, Karina, Marisa, Catherine, Karly, and me. Karly's first words were, "I hate this." The rest of us couldn't stop laughing forever. After just playing and laughing in the water for a while we got back on the tube and guess who was also back on? Karly! She really is a die-hard when it comes to tubing, She LOVES it! I was so proud of her. Anyway, those are a couple of the fun stories. Here are pics of one of those lucky days where we actually had good weather and had all the grandkids there.

Karly thought she would try waterskiing, but this was as far as she got!

I love Karly's face as she swims to the dock.

Teague likes Grandma's lab and a cell phone way better than the boat!

Comments

I don't know what I've got to do to get a comment on this thing!! Cute pics of a one year old on a toilet don't even get a bite! You three readers of my blog are a tough crowd! What do I have to do? Announce I'm three months pregnant or something? Well, I am in fact, three months pregnant. I'm due March 29, a week after my sister. Having cousins so close is really fun and I am excited. I had an ultrasound a month ago because I had some bleeding, and the ultrasound tech guy told me to take it easy. No heaving lifting, rest, and other things, so I've been doing so all month. Then my Dr. yesterday says it's not a big deal and if I'm not bleeding I can do all those things I want to do. What?! Would have been nice to know that a month ago. Oh well, not mowing the lawn has been nice! : ) But now that I know I'm fine, life is better. : ) (I even mowed some of the lawn today! : )

Potty Training My One Year Old?

No, I am not potty training my one year old. I put Teague in the bathtub and he looked like he was about to poop in the tub AGAIN, so I pulled him out and put him on the little toilet. I left to do something and kind of forgot out him sitting there :} After five minutes or so I came back and he had gone, hurray! Way better than in the bathtub! Plus he just looked so cute sitting there I had to take a picture and share his story. Now, if I could only get Kami to do this!

Lake Cleveland with Wardle's

While my brother and his family were here this summer we had lots of fun. My kids really enjoyed playing with their cousins, and still ask about them more often. One adventure was fishing and dinner at Lake Cleveland. The only one with any luck was Janill who caught a dead fish. (would that be considered good luck or bad luck?) Anyway, it's always fun to enjoy the Lake and being in the mountains. (Yes, this is also back in July!)

Derek showing off his muscles!

It rained off and on so Karly and Janill ate their food in the back of the expedition.

Dinner in the Mountains with Petersons

This kid is amazing I tell you what!! Taking a mover to the mountains, you're just asking to get this! This kid loves dirt and mud, so he was in Heaven! Add some cheetos on top and you have everything a little boy could ask for! (PS I'm out of order, this was back in July)
Teague gives me this look quite often now. He looks at me like this then tries to explain to me why it's ok that he's about to do what he's about to do. It's usually something he shouldn't do, but he always has a good explanation why it's ok!

This was so rare, we had to get a picture!
This clean face only last about five minutes, if we're lucky!
Teague wasn't the only one loving all the dirt!
Kami showed us how much she enjoyed the mountains also.
But dirty or not, she's still cute!

Little happenings

What a Cutie!! I love this little girl. She is such a sweetie. She likes to take care of her dolls and any cousins younger than she is (even if they are almost as big.) Yep, I love her to pieces!

Teague likes to help clean, or at least pretend to.
Now, if he would only clean as often as he makes a mess he would be kept busy all day!

Here's Derek in his Diego jammies making a silly face!
